Dragon fruit powder/pitaya powder, due to its vibrant color, rich anthocyanins, vitamins, and water-soluble dietary fiber, has become an important member of the global superfood market in recent years. Compared to other tropical fruit powders, dragon fruit powder has a relatively low sugar content, meeting the needs of a healthy diet. The spray-dried powder dissolves quickly in liquids without producing significant sedimentation. Moreover, it has a sweet and refreshing taste and is easy to combine with other fruit powders.

What is dragon fruit powder used for?
1. Natural Pigment. Dragon fruit powder contains Betalains, which are not only powerful antioxidants but also provide a vibrant purplish-red color. With increasing regulations on artificial colorings in European, American, and Chinese markets, pitaya powder, as a 100% pure fruit ingredient, is gradually replacing artificial colorings in candies and baked goods. Therefore, it is an ideal alternative to synthetic food colorings in the food industry. Due to its antioxidant properties and natural color, it is also used in cosmetics such as lipsticks and blushes. 2. Beverages. Widely used in Pink Lattes, milkshakes, cocktails, and functional drinks. Pitaya-based beverages have greatly boosted its market popularity.
